Funny Palindromes T-Shirt!

Funny Palindromes T-Shirt! Okay, this isn't a Pun. But it's sort of a play on words. Palindromes are words that read the same forward and backwards, like noon,  nurses run, or kayak! ~ So this shirt is just funny. Palindromes are semordnilap!  I used my silhouette cameo to cut heat transfer vinyl. Just reverse the image before cutting.  Place the plastic side down. Then weed the vinyl and place the vinyl on the shirt, with plastic side up. Then iron med/high for a couple minutes.  Peel off the plastic and tada!  It will definitely cause lots of interesting looks! Love it! This post published on Doodlecraft first

Mountains are Hill Areas! Pun Week!

Mountains are Hill Areas! It's Pun Week on the blog this week! My daughter asked for "puns" for Christmas, so I hooked her up with lots of silly things! Including this shirt! So, here's how to make a glow-in-the-dark hilarious shirt! I cut out the image on glow-in-the-dark heat transfer vinyl. I love vinyl projects. Cover with a tea towel and iron on high over all the top of it for 2 minutes. After a couple minutes, check the plastic. Peel it back slightly and see if the vinyl is a...

Pun Week: Never Trust an Atom Funny T-Shirt

Pun Week:  Never Trust an Atom Funny T-Shirt  You will need: Freezer paper T-shirt Silhouette Cameo or hobby knife/cutting mat Fabric paint/brush I used a simple font: Impact. It's boring, but the letters are tall and fit tights, so it is a great font for doing shirts. I also found an atom silhouette image.  You can cut Freezer Paper with your Silhouette Cameo. Just place it shiny/waxy side on the cutting mat and set the blade to 1. Then have it cut.  While it's cutting. Place some cardboard between the layers of shirt. This way it won't run through to the other side. I always use a post office box, because I can still mail it--no waste.  Ready.  Peel the freezer paper off the mat.  Place it on the shirt.  Then iron the paper right to the shirt. You can pick out the insides of the letters and iron them in too...but we opted not too. It's easier that way and it looks cool.  I did put the piece ...
