Prismacolor Colored Pencils Roll-Up!

Prismacolor Colored Pencils Roll-Up! I received these amazing Prismacolor Pencils and pens to review for this post! I absolutely love Prismacolor. I used them all through High School in my AP art class and Commercial Art and Design. I love the smooth, high quality and the blending capabilities!  I received this amazing Prismacolor box. It had a 24 set of Premier colored pencils, fine tip pens and a flash drive with tutorials on coloring and details!  Oh, and some fun images to get right in and color. I must confess.  I love to color and craft...but I am not patient enough to color, so it runs all over the lines.  The tin the pencils came in is wonderful and does not need to be replaced... but I like to craft things up and make it easy to travel.  I used 2 layers of material 21 inches wide and 14 inches tall.  Next, sew around it with the right sides together. Leave a 4 inch gap open in the center of the top for easy flipp...

Calligraphy and Watercolor Storage!

Calligraphy and Watercolor Storage! So.  What started as an innocent collection of Calligraphy and Watercolor supplies, turned into something. more. I just needed a waterproof ink, a metallic palette, a new oblique holder. You get it, right!? I received this fabulous organization caddy from Creative Options to review!  It has a large top storage space and 3 pull-out caddy drawers. It's called the Medium Rack. You can get them on Amazon. It really holds a lot of stuff!  I put all my Calligraphy inks, pens and cleaners in the top compartment.  They fit perfectly, all upright!  Perfection.  I have the drawers filled with watercolors, pens, brush markers, extra nibs... I sized down from a tackle box caddy and 2 small shoe box totes, to this way cuter Medium rack in my favorite color of blue! And I love it!  All in one place and easy to access! Follow Creative Options on Facebook too! This post p...

Crystal Knob Necklace Holder!

Crystal Knob Necklace Holder! This is a project that helped me with my PHD.    Hahaha, right!? This necklace holder was on my "to-do" list for a year. I even had all the supplies just waiting for like 15 minutes to do it! I used a strip of pine board about 4 inches wide and 2 feet long. I used Plaid Home Decor Chalk paint , which I love! I am fortunate enough to be an Ambassador for Plaid, which means they send me  products to use on a regular basis.  No other compensation, but I love trying all these fun new supplies! I also had a bunch of different knobs and several sparkly crystal knobs!  I did a quick paint job on the wood. And chalk paint is a dream because it dries so fast!  I spaced out the knobs and then marked them with a pencil.  Then used a drill and bit slightly larger than the machine screw that comes with the knobs.  Then I twisted all the knobs on, exactly where I wanted them! I drilled 2 other ho...
