 Día de Muertos Day of the Dead Party with Oriental Trading! Celebrate the Day of the Dead on November 1st with a brightly colored party. Día de Muertos is the Mexican holiday that celebrates ancestors that have passed on.  It's a colorful celebration that rejoices in those that have come before.  Feet Loaf (Meatloaf) Spooky Halloween Dinner Recipe Halloween dinners are so much fun! I love to make something a little gross and a little different for my family to eat for Halloween dinner. This feat loaf (meatloaf) recipe is perfect! Taking pictures of meat is pretty disgusting...but it's Halloween, so it is justified through that lens.  Do you like Meatloaf? My family has always liked it...in fact, there was one time that my oldest son (at age 5) had an asthma attack and needed to be admitted to the hospital. The staff would not let him eat anything. He arrived about 8PM and had to go all night long without any food. Then, he had to miss breakfast and lunch until the pediatrician came to check him out.  Black Forest Trifle Graveyard Dessert! Black forest trifle is divine. Fluffy layers of cream, chocolate cake, pudding and cherries...it's the perfect dessert. Dress it up like a graveyard for the best Halloween dessert. This dessert is easy to make and assemble for a party or event. These black,  tall, plastic wine glasses are the perfect containers for the graveyard Victorian feel. These glasses are from Oriental Trading and I received them in exchange for this post. To make the gravestones you will need Milano cookies and black food coloring. You will also need a new small paint brush. Write a simple R.I.P. in food coloring on the top of each cookie and let them dry.
