Marbled Dipped Mugs!

Marbled Dipped Mugs! These are so fun to make, you will want to do it over and over again! Great to do with older kids...tweens and teens!  You will need a basin of water, preferably in something disposable Nail polish (don't use glitter, glow in the dark...they clump) and ceramic mugs! (you can probably dip anything, so have fun with it!)  Fill the basin with water, at least 4 inches deep. Then drop and swirl nail polish on the top of the water.  Use a toothpick to swirl it, then dip the mug in. Hold it in the water and use a toothpick to move the remaining polish away from the mug.  Pull it out and set it upside down to dry.  Repeat again and again! So much fun!  Each mug turns out differently and so unique!  The swirls are amazing!  Every little pattern is so fun!  The bottoms end up looking the most amazing!  It was awesome to use black!  Love it! Can't wait to do this again!...

Seashell Soap Dish

Seashell Soap Dish! What better way to display something as boring as soap than a giant shell?!  I have a bunch of these ancient shells. They are giant and awesome...but sort of useless.  So I added a touch of pink enamel! The perfect paint because it is not water soluble...so  constant soap and water wont be a problem!  I poured some hot pink nail polish into the shell and used the wand to paint it on!  Easy, awesome and the perfect pop of color!!!  And it now happily resides by my sink for the cleanliness of hands. Or it could hold jewelry...rings perhaps!  Awesome and bright! I love it! This post published on Doodlecraft first

Union Jack Manicure!

Union Jack!  Awesome Union Jack Manicure! I got these Union Jack pattern polymer clay canes from Wholeport They send me products I want to blog about! And these are right down the Doctor Who alley for me! They are soft clay...but have been baked, so they can't be stretched or molded.  But they slice easily with an x-acto knife.  Then I just used clear nail polish...you could use nail glue.  added a dot of it...  Stuck on a thin layer of the Union Jack...  And clear coated the whole nail...  Repeat and let dry! Taking it out for a spin! This post published on Doodlecraft first

Star Manicure with Stickers!

I have this fabulous 5 point star hole punch. I use it for fun Star manicures. I use the extra/backing part of sticker sheets and punch a bunch of stars. You could just use star stickers! Or any other shapes of stickers...just make sure they are  small enough to fit on your finger nail!  Carefully separate the sticker from the backing...  And put it on my nail. A trick for making your nails look longer is to not center your design. Place it slightly above the center line.  Repeat on all nails.  Then paint over them and let them dry completely.  Use a hook tool to gently lift up the sticker and peel them off. Leaving a cool negative space star on your nails! Easy and fun! This post published on Doodlecraft first
