I've been spotlighting Nintendo all week here at Doodlecraft because of the fun event we attended , but mostly because I love Nintendo!  I've been a huge Nintendo fan since 1989, when we got a Classic Nintendo for Christmas.  The day I discovered the Konami Code was the best.  It's like the code that unlocks the mysteries of the universe.  I received fabulous product from Nintendo used in this post.  I owe it all to my dad.  My dad is a Nintendo Ninja.  He was a code hacker for games we played.  We'd give him a few codes as we beat certain levels and he'd break the code and give us "cheat codes" for everything we wanted in the game.  Starting level 1 with all the weapons you can acquire through the game is pretty cool as a kid!  This is a great printable for Father's day to remind dad (or o...

Nintendo Controllers Let's Play Iron-On Vinyl Shirt!

Products in post received from Nintendo and Cricut Affiliate links included #ad #sponsored  Nintendo Controllers Let's Play Iron-On Vinyl Shirt! I love Nintendo.  Back in 1989 my family got an original Nintendo...and guess what?  It still works.  During the mid 1990's when everyone was getting rid of their Nintendo's, my dad bought every single one he could find at thrift stores, all the games too.  Seriously, he ended up with a stack of 9 or 10, and over 100 games.  He gave us one for a wedding gift and we played Nintendo until the console broke...and then we returned it to his stack.  So this year I asked my dad for another original Nintendo, so my kids to play some old school games that I remember.  I love Mario Brothers and Legend of Zelda, obviously...but also Mickey Mousecapade and T&C Surf...Contra was another big fave.  What old school games did you love? Last week I was able to attend a Nintendo Blogger event in Salt L...

Craft Room Reveal!

Craft Room Reveal! We have one "bedroom" on the main floor but decided to turn it into the craft room with all the bedrooms downstairs. Here's the room before. We took out the carpet and covered with laminate, just like the living room floor.  We had to remove the chair rail molding so the shelves I had would fit snug against the wall. but I did not want to paint the entire room, since most of it would just be covered up again. So I puttied the wall and taped off a 12" stripe with painters tape.  And then painted the stripe a darker gray.  All around the room.  We got this cute desk and cut it down to fit this wall for the sewing machines.  All the shelves packed full of crafting supplies!  And the wall filled with fun gallery wall type things!  The perfect room for creative inspiration!  And most of the time it's a mess anyway!  But I love it! What's your favorite part? My kids love the Ninten...
