Wire Wrapped Bird Nest Ring!

Wire Wrapped Bird Nest Ring!  Easy Handmade project for tweens and up! Wire Wrapped Bird Nest Ring! Like this adorable Bird Nest Necklace I did in the early part of this year...  But on a ring! ~ Start with 3 feet of 20 gauge wire...and as many beads as you want.  Start by wrapping around your finger and bigger...to make a messy loop  Loop the wire around the loops. This will create the messy bird nest and help it keep its shape.  Leave the center open for the bead eggs.  Place the beads on the wire...  And bend them to fit in the egg. Twist the wire underneath and loop it around another wire to secure it in place.  Now for the ring. Similar to this wire wrapped ring I did here: You will need a ring sizer and mandrel You will need 12 inches of 20 gauge wire. Place the wire 1/2 a size bigger than you need it to end up and wrap it around the mandrel. Wrap it back around and twist it tight ...

Wire Wrapped Lunar Pendants!

Wire Wrapped Lunar Pendants!  I call them Lunar because they look like a moon...with  a crescent shape...and so I used a star bead. You will need 3 feet of wire and about 4 or 5 large beads.  Just make a rough loop with about 2 feet of the wire. Then twist and wrap the wire around the loops about 4 times.  Wrap the wire up to the opposite side and twist and wrap to make a small loop for hanging.  Wrap around the small loop and then let the remaining wire dangle in front.  Add a few beads of choice!  Right onto the wire. Making sure they fit in the inside of the loops.  Twist and wrap the remaining wire right around the loops.  Perfection! Add a chain and you are ready to wear! Add a chain for maximum accessorization! Just ordered a gold snake chain that should be here any day now...   This post published on Doodlecraft first

Wire Wrapped Heart Pendant!

Wire Wrapped Heart Pendant! You will need: 8 inches of 14 gauge wire a bunch of 20 gauge wire Curl the 8 inches of wire into a heart shape. Bend up the ends so they overlap. Then take the 20 gauge wire and wrap the entire thing! This will hold the junction together too! I used the wire to form a loop for the necklace pendant... Keep twirling! You can make the wire wraps tighter together, but I like the light pink peeking through! Then add a sash of beads across the heart! Super fun! come back tomorrow for more wire wrapping!   This post published on Doodlecraft first
