Keep Calm and Don't Blink!

Keep Calm and Don't Blink! Another Doctor Who inspired sign! In honor of the upcoming Christmas Special! (I'm totally geeking out!) I love it!  The Angel seals the deal! I took an old wood sign...and painted it TARDIS blue!   I gave it a couple coats so the old words wouldn't show through.  I cut some vinyl with the silhouette in white. Peeled it off the backing...placed it centered on the wood and pressed hard!  I use a plastic scraper to smooth it out and make sure it's really stuck! Then peel off the transfer paper and hot glued on my last freaky angel... I used my other 2 here. Awesome and inspiring! Linking up to THESE parties this week!

Keep Calm Upcycled wood signage!

I had a bunch of scrap wood. Some press board, some pine, some thick, some thin... Decided to just go nuts and make a bunch of symbols.  I used a band saw and a scroll saw... cut out my shapes Stained them with Dark Walnut  Painted them with awesome reduced price paint! yes, 50 cents.  I got creamy white and robin egg.  Painted them up...  Distressed them a bit... Kept calm...and hung them up!     Set them out...    Love it!  Great for Photography props or home decor! I have a stash of quick gifts now too!  :)
