Doctor WHO week! TARDIS Dress!

The grand finale of Doctor Who week is the TARDIS Dress!  The classic Tardis blue with the Police Public Call Box!  First we found a plain blue dress at the thrift store.  I cut out some heat transfer vinyl in a black rectangle and white lettering. I found the best heat transfer vinyl from SiserNa.com  They are a wholesaler, so you can purchase it from Regional Supply!  The letters need to be reversed. Weed out the excess vinyl.  Start by placing the black rectangle on the dress.  Cover with a tea towel and iron on high for a few minutes.  Remove the plastic covering.  Now place the lettering vinyl right over the top! This was my first experience layering vinyl!  It works great, just don't touch your iron to the vinyl. Use a tea towel for the entire second processes...and so on.  Cover with tea towel, iron and then remove the plastic!  Fabulous!  It makes the dress look 100x's bett...
