Pineapple Party!

Pineapple Party! We had a super fun and simple party for New Year's Eve!  It was all pineapple themed! I got all this fun stuff from Oriental Trading!   They have everything you need for weddings, parties, toys and novelties, and crafts!  This table with hairpin legs has been perfect for buffet for a party! Check out the table details here! To make this fun Pineapple Garland here's what we did. Tissue Paper Balls in Yellow Green Tissue Paper Black and White Tassel Garland  Fold 2 layers of tissue paper about 4 inches tall and 16 inches wide. Cut on the open edge with a jagged edge.  Then tape it inside the ball on both sides of where it opens.  Then tape the balls closed with the included tape on them as designed.  Cutest little pineapple decorations!  Next this cute bucket pineapple: Bucket Favors Caramel Balls  (one order will fill one bucket) And more of the green tissue paper ~ Cut the tissue pape...

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Bowl!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Bowl! Make a yummy treat for a family night or party!  Mix up some chocolate chip cookie dough. Here's my recipe Then place the cookie dough balls in a muffin pan.  Bake for the recommended time.  While still warm, press the base of a small cup in each muffin cookie.  It smooshes the chocolate, but cools into a darling little cookie bowl!  Let them cool and then fill with fun!  Great with a tiny scoop of ice cream. Or cream and fruit!  Super yummy and twice the fun! This post published on Doodlecraft first

Tardis Light Switch Cover!

Tardis Light Switch Cover! Another fun TARDIS craft! This is great for people like me that want an entire TARDIS door but haven't DIY'ed that yet. Start small with a switch plate!  I got a Capitol style wall plate and used FolkArt Multi-surface paint  I painted it all blue. Then let it dry. Spray it with a clear coat to keep it from scratching off.  Next I used vinyl in blue, white and black.  Just freehanded the top peak of the Tardis in blue vinyl.  Then lots of little squares for the windows and the notice sign.  Next, find a wall switch that needs a face lift!  Add the top part of the vinyl. After measuring and marking where it needs to go.  Screw on the wall plate and enjoy!  A tiny little TARDIS on the wall! Super simple and fun for all! Great summer craft for the Doctor Who enthusiast children!!! Come back tomorrow for another great project! This post published on...
