DIY Ombre Penny Art Project!

DIY Ombre Penny Art Project! Make a super cool piece of art using less than a dollar's worth of pennies! Learn how easy it is to change the color of pennies with a couple ingredients you probably already have!  This fun science experiment turned art is a great science fair project or homeschool activity. This is a fun craft I did with my kids back in 2012--seriously, so long ago. Just a few days ago my 19 year old daughter and I were chatting and she told me she always hated projects that used pennies. I reminder her of this project we did... She told me she thought it was SUCH a waste of money! Seriously ðŸ¤£ 😂 🤣  We laughed about how cheap of a project it actually was, but her little 8 year old mind thought it was sheer opulence.  I thought it would be the perfect time to refresh this craft, add brighter photos and send it to the forefront again for more inspiration. Lucky Stamped Pennies!

The Lucky winner of the Bubblegum Backdrops Giveaway is: Julianne Brooks! Anyone who didn't win can use the coupon code: DOODLECRAFT15 for 15% off your entire purchase!  Hurry, offer only good until July 31! I got some Metal Alphabet Stamps...and have been stamping everything! Like Big Washers and Fancy Washer Necklaces! Keys, spoons, washers and PENNIES! But I needed a way to punch a hole in the penny for a necklace...  That's it, I used my cropadile! It cut right through that penny so smoothly! I did a few extra pennies, that have yet to be stamped...  And in my new found excitement and arrogance, I reached for a Canadian penny...and tried to punch a hole through that... little did I know that the metal content was much  different than an American penny...and it broke my cropadile...so sad. Isn't that lucky? Linking up to THESE parties this week!
