How to Make a Circle Wood Sign! Make the perfect wood circle hello sign. Begin by painting the lower half of the sign. I followed the slat lines, so it was super easy. If you have a solid round circle, just use painters tape to mask off a straight line.  FolkArt Color Shift™ Painted Succulent Pots Check out this gorgeous new paint from Plaid Crafts It's called Color Shift.  It's got metallic bits in it to give it a gorgeous shimmer! Just the thing for some Spring time succulents!  There are 10 different Color Shift paints. I got 4. Red Flash, Orange Flash, Aqua Flash and Purple Flash I got some fun Brushed Metal Paints too...for an upcoming post! I used some white pots. And painted 2 coats of paint over each of them. I didn't worry about painting the inside of them. Let them dry completely. I put 2 upside down in a box and the other 2 right side up and  gave them a quick misting of gold spray paint for a little more added shimmer.  Then I got some darling succulents and gravel as well as some potting soil.  Fill the bottom third with gravel, this is for water drainage.  Add potting soil and then the little plant. Peacock Front Door!

 Peacock Front Door! Okay, this is our side door.  But it gets used more than our cool front door. And it was ugly. ~ When we bought this house in January, the inside of the house was painted a purple-ish gray color. They used it on this door too.  Not a fan. Not only is it super boring...but it was scratched badly from the previous owners dogs. The trim is a peachy salmon color and I do not love it...but until we get brave enough to paint  all the wood surfaces of the house, I'll leave it the way it is. In any case the Peacock is the perfect complimentary color!  I painted it Peacock Blue! I love all shades of blue, especially teal! My husband is not a huge fan of this color.
