Geeky Crochet Hooks!

Geeky Crochet Hooks!  If you crochet or know someone who does...and they are geeky... they will love these!  Great gift idea! The Elder Wand from Harry Potter Lothlorien leaf and the One Ring from Lord of the Rings King Arthur's Excalibur from Merlin/Arthurian Legend Sonic Screwdriver from Doctor Who Lightsaber from Star Wars  I began with several small crochet hooks. You can use any size hook...I recommend the metal ones, but I am sure the plastic ones would work too...after all, I've made lightsabers and sonic screwdrivers out of plastic pens. Crochet a Flower Rosette Wreath!

I got these little yarn bon-bons from a contest and just had  to use them for something fun and bright! I crocheted rosettes here . Then I stacked flowers and yo-yo's and hot glued them together. You will need a bunch of bright colored crocheted rosettes! And a cutie pie that can crochet yards of chain stitch rope. This little woman did 60 yards for me! And she loved it! I made a wreath form from a pool noodle from the dollar store. Then hot glued one end of my chain stitched rope and  started wrapping it around the wreath... over and over and over. Until fully wrapped.  I also added a little  slash across the middle... Started without glue and decided where  I wanted the flowers to go. I hot glued the flowers right on the wreath! Bright and colorful! I love it!  Perfect for Spring! Don't you love those colors? Linking up to THESE parties this week! ...
