Pizza Rolls!

Pizza Rolls! These are a family favorite! First mix up a batch of roll dough ...this is the best one and it only takes 30 minutes!  While that's mixing, get your pizza toppings ready!  Split the dough into 4 equal parts. Then roll out 1 part in a long rectangle...about 6-8 inches tall.  Add pizza sauce  Add toppings...  Add cheese!  Now, carefully roll up the dough into a long tube. Use scissors to cut the tube into 12 pieces. Place on a silicone mat for baking. Let them rise for 10 minutes, then bake at 400* for 12 minutes.  Great with a side of dipping sauce! Homemade Freezer Pizza Crust!

We do a lot of homemade pizza here. It tastes great and we know what's in it. But here's where I cheat. I use the same recipe as I use to make rolls ... I just split my dough in quarters and make 4 pizza crusts. So, inspiration struck and I did a double batch... made them into pizza crusts and layered them between foil.  Stacked them up...and froze them for about 20 minutes...  Then put them into a 3 gallon zipper bag...and labeled them! Super easy to just pull one out... And throw it on the grill! If you haven't had grilled pizza yet, you should try it! Linking up to THESE parties this week!

Italian Roma Tomato Mozzarella Grilled Pizza!

One of my favorite Grilled Pizza Combos! You'll need pizza crust, sauce, roma tomatoes (these would be awesome from your garden) and Mozzarella Cheese...you could make your own like I did here!  Thinly slice your tomatoes and slice up your cheese. Mine was presliced, but they were really thick...I tried to cut them in half.  Heat up the grill on low. Put your entire crust right on the grill.  Wait for it to lightly brown and flip the entire thing over.  Add your tomato sauce...I always go with the garlic kind. Add your tomato slices like pepperoni!  Add your chunks of mozzarella on top.  Sprinkle with some basil...or Italian seasoning.  Let the cheese soften and the underside of the crust cook... then get it off the grill and cut it up!  Looks like ice cream!  So yummy!  Perfect Garden Pizza! GRILLED PIZZA!!!

My husband and I are trying to watch what we eat...  We discovered something we love! We call it the Pizza Diet! The way we make it makes perfect little 100 calorie pieces... Grilled Pizza. Here's how to make it. Heat up the grill. Take your pizza dough (here's where I cheat...I use my exact same 30 minute  roll dough recipe ... and just add 1 additional cup of flour) Then I split the dough into quarters. You can bag them up for later if you don't want 4 pizza's!  (just store in the fridge) Take one ball of dough.  Roll it out on a cookie sheet (spray with non-stick spray) and flatten it out. Just set it on your low warm grill! Cover and let cook...it should get slightly bubbly.    When it's toasted on one side, use 2 spatulas to flip it over.  Then immediately put on all the toppings! Pizza sauce (we use Garlic and Onions spaghetti sauce from a jar)  Add your toppings and a little cheese...  Don't o...
