Fantastic Beasts: Butterbeer Cupcakes Recipe!

Fantastic Beasts: Butterbeer Cupcakes Recipe! Butterbeer is such a great part of Harry Potter...have they even mentioned it in Fantastic Beasts?  I don't know...but it doesn't stop me from making some Butterbeer cupcakes.  These are sweet and buttery with an overload of butterbeer frosting too! Here's what you will need for 6 cupcakes: 6 cupcake liners Cupcake baking tray 6 Butterbeer cupcakes: 1 Egg 4  Tablespoons  butter softened 4  Tablespoons  sugar 3  Tablespoons  milk  1/2 cup Flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 2 pinches of salt 2 Tablespoons Butter Rum Syrup Fill the liners with the batter and bake 350* for 18 minutes or until bounces back. Mine sunk a little, but it worked out just fine for the next step.  Set them aside and let them cool down.  While cooling, mix up the frosting. Easy Edible Roses on Cupcake Tutorial!

Easy Edible Roses on Cupcake Tutorial! This is a simple DIY to make your cupcakes look amazing!  I am a serious crafter and I have had some experience with cake decorating... but I don't love it.  I don't love to spend my time making pretty food that won't last. So I admire people that have that patience and skill...but I prefer easy tricks to make food cute.  This trick involves one of my favorite treats! Air Heads! I got this big bag of Air Heads from Oriental Trading!  You will also need some cupcakes. You can totally use store bought ones or make up a mix. And frosting...again, I used store bought.  The large red rose uses 6 Airheads The smaller roses, like the blue and orange and white use 3 Airheads, cut in half the long way. The tiny roses in clusters of 3 use 1 airhead each, so 3 per cupcake. And we used green airheads for the leaves. Open 3 packages of Airheads and cut in half the long way.  Just like this. ...

Earthworm Cupcakes! Harry Potter Week!

Earthworm Cupcakes!  Harry Potter Week! These wormy cupcakes are the perfect dessert for a Halloween or Harry Potter Party! These worms look so real, it's disturbing!  I used a cake mix and store bought frosting. I put the frosting in the mixer and whipped it up so it would be easier to pipe onto the cupcakes. Then I put it in a piping bag with a large star tip and just did a little swirl of frosting on each.  You could get really creative and crush some Oreo's to make dirt. Then I used these Realistic Gummy Worms from Oriental Trading Company . They are so realistic, it's scary.  I cut them in half. And stuck the cut end into the cake and then set the rest of the worm across the cupcake. They are awesome!  Great treat for a little boy's birthday party, Cub Scouts, Halloween dessert or like me, a Harry Potter Party! Slugulus Eructo! Eat Slugs! This post published on Doodlecraft first
