Blue Sandstone Galaxy TARDIS Necklace!

Blue Sandstone Galaxy TARDIS Necklace!   Make the most adorable galaxy pendant in all of time and space!  You will need: Blue Sandstone pendant Similar to these on amazon You will also need: Blue and silver Testors enamel paint  This pack is great: I love the blue sandstone. It looks like a galaxy already!  It is perfect for a little Doctor Who! I used the enamel and a small paintbrush... And just painted on a little blue box. Gave it a peaked roof, a longer base, and a little light on top! Then let them dry. Next I used silver and painted the details. Light, windows, lines...super sketchy and basic. I love the galaxy stars in the background! Perfect for all the Doctor Who geeks in your life! If you want one but ...

Diamond Confetti Wall!

Diamond Confetti Wall! My daughter just turned 12.   We bought a house and it's finally at decorating point--well some of it. So I started with my daughters room. Tween rooms can be tricky. My daughter is still very girly and cutesy...but I knew that would not last forever... possibly not even a year! So I wanted to do something that can transition easily...and change easily!!! She requested a confetti wall.  I didn't want to do the same confetti wall that everyone else is doing... and I used to have dreams about diamonds and gems in all their glory for the taking rushing past me like a river.  So this was where my inspiration came from.  Did you see this fancy tote bag with gem? It's awesome too...so many possibilities with these diamonds!  We started with baby blue walls and quickly painted everything white. I used a satin finish...and we waited the 3 entire weeks before  putting up vinyl, which was so hard!...
