Lucky Stamped Pennies!

The Lucky winner of the Bubblegum Backdrops Giveaway is: Julianne Brooks! Anyone who didn't win can use the coupon code: DOODLECRAFT15 for 15% off your entire purchase!  Hurry, offer only good until July 31! I got some Metal Alphabet Stamps...and have been stamping everything! Like Big Washers and Fancy Washer Necklaces! Keys, spoons, washers and PENNIES! But I needed a way to punch a hole in the penny for a necklace...  That's it, I used my cropadile! It cut right through that penny so smoothly! I did a few extra pennies, that have yet to be stamped...  And in my new found excitement and arrogance, I reached for a Canadian penny...and tried to punch a hole through that... little did I know that the metal content was much  different than an American penny...and it broke my cropadile...so sad. Isn't that lucky? Linking up to THESE parties this week!

Handstamped Washer Necklaces!

I've been metal stamping anything and everything! I had my son do some washers a couple weeks ago...with a large punch set. I got a smaller scriptier alphabet set and did some more! I got the punch set at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon--about $12 Lots of washers...and other stainless steel things! I did pennies the other day too!  These are fun for necklaces, keychains or as zipper pulls!  Oh yeah, this is what my desk REALLY looks like:  Aren't we thankful for close-ups!? Easy Thank-you printables!

I made some 4 by 6 images. made them into photo's...I always wait  until Walgreen's has a great photo deal... and then I print a bunch of them... Then I cut the photo to fit: 4 by 5.25" Then I mount them on A2 size cards:  Easy, cheap thank you notes! Keep some in your purse for quick thanks,  or give a stack as a gift! Here they are FREE...if you like:

Letter/Name Signage!

For Christmas gifts, (and super cheap ones too...) I made last name signs! I was going to be dilligent and photograph all the letters myself... alas, I only did the f. The rest I found here!  Letter goldmine . I saved the letters off into individual folders for each family name...making sure I liked the colors, styles and arrangement! I used photoshop to crop the perfect 4 by 6" size. I uploaded them to Walgreen's photo online. (and they were having a 1/2 price print sale, so they were 10 cents a pic.) Then, an hour or so later, I picked them up. For this one, I had a 30" frame on hand.  I had 10 letters to fit...you'd think a 3" letter would do the trick...but L's are HUGE!  So, it's 4" and I cut down a few others (like the I's) to make it work.  Awesome sister-in-law gift.  I made my entire name. And did a bunch more! For the others, I went to the  dollar store and bought foam core posterboard...
