Fantastic Pun Teacher Appreciation Week Gift Idea!

Fantastic Pun Teacher Appreciation Week Gift Idea!! My daughter is totally into puns and came up with this fun one. I had her gather up some sticks from the yard. You will also need Fanta brand soda and Ribbon.  Just print out this fun printable! Right click to save off, personal use only. Then I cut them apart and mounted them on cardstock.  Tie the stick to the drink on the right side. That way when you look at it you read it as Fanta-Stick! Tape on the tag! Great gift idea for Teacher Appreciation week (first week of May) Or any other time you need a handout or something fun to give to friends! Neighbor gifts, maybe! Here's some more fun puns! Funny Palindromes T-Shirt!

Funny Palindromes T-Shirt! Okay, this isn't a Pun. But it's sort of a play on words. Palindromes are words that read the same forward and backwards, like noon,  nurses run, or kayak! ~ So this shirt is just funny. Palindromes are semordnilap!  I used my silhouette cameo to cut heat transfer vinyl. Just reverse the image before cutting.  Place the plastic side down. Then weed the vinyl and place the vinyl on the shirt, with plastic side up. Then iron med/high for a couple minutes.  Peel off the plastic and tada!  It will definitely cause lots of interesting looks! Love it! This post published on Doodlecraft first

Pun Week! Quality Koala Tea Shirt!

Pun Week! Quality Koala Tea Shirt! This Koala Tea Shirt is adorable and funny. It's cute even if people don't get it. ~ You will need: freezer paper Silhouette cameo or Hobby knife and cutting mat Fabric paint T-shirt Stencil paintbrush Cardboard ~ If you have a Silhouette, right click to save off the darling image. Import it into Silhouette Studio, use the trace tool, increase levels so all the black lines are yellow and then select cut lines. Then put a piece of freezer paper on your cutting mat with the shiny side sticking to the mat. Set your blade to #1 and the setting to "copy paper".  Peel the freezer paper off the cutting mat and place it shiny side down on the shirt. Layer the cardboard inside the shirt so the paint doesn't bleed through the back. Iron on high, all the pieces except the "black line" outline.  Just like this. This way, when you paint, you are filling in the black lines.  I used gray pai...

Mountains are Hill Areas! Pun Week!

Mountains are Hill Areas! It's Pun Week on the blog this week! My daughter asked for "puns" for Christmas, so I hooked her up with lots of silly things! Including this shirt! So, here's how to make a glow-in-the-dark hilarious shirt! I cut out the image on glow-in-the-dark heat transfer vinyl. I love vinyl projects. They are so simple and fast, once you get the hang of it. So, when using heat transfer vinyl, you need to reverse the image. That way when you set it down to iron on the fabric, it's the correct direction. So cut it in reverse and weed out the excess vinyl with a hook tool. Just like this. Now it is ready to stick down onto the shirt. I used a black shirt that I got at the dollar store. Set the heat transfer vinyl on the shirt, right where you want it. Cover with a tea towel and iron on high over all the top of it for 2 minutes. After a couple minutes, check the plastic. Peel it back slightly and see if the vinyl is a...
