Star Wars R2D2 Boutique Bow! Happy May the 4th!

Star Wars R2D2 Boutique Bow! Celebrate May the 4th with Star Wars Accessories! May the 4th be with you!...and look out for Revenge of the 5th! Here's a great bow to show you're geek chic! Fill up a silicone mold with hot glue... (Don't have a mold???  Make your own tutorial here! ) Or pick up the Star Wars Mold here:  Let it cool completely... Then pop it out of the mold...Perfectly formed! Spray paint, then add details with acrylic paint! Zig zag some ribbon like an accordion...so there are 4 loops...2 on each side.  Pinch and gather the ribbon in the center. Pinch and hold in place. Use some thread and wrap the center about 10 times around. Then tie it off tight and cut the thread.  Now it looks kind of smooshed. Take some time to mold it into a pretty shape!  Like this!  Cut the tails with a v-notch. This will help prevent fraying... Use a lighter to melt the ends to prevent frays.  ...

Star Wars C3PO and R2D2 Painted Heels! Yes--these are the shoes you are looking for!  Who doesn't want mismatched droid shoes??? Okay, well at least any Star Wars fan would want some... Who isn't a Star Wars fan???  I love the way these turned out!  Total Geek Chic! The perfect pair! C3PO and R2D2 Painted Shoes!  Here's some shoes I found at Goodwill. A color I would never wear...and pretty worn. Some cuts and scuffs, but no biggy. Jedi Mind Trick. I used 2 colors of Rub 'n Buff for these droids. Gold Leaf and Silver Leaf (not pictured) AMACO sent me these 5 tubes to try out and review...I love them  so much I went to Hobby Lobby and picked up 3 other colors! They run about $5.50 each.  (less if you use a coupon) Way worth it...I barely used any! They work great for so many surfaces too...if you want to change the finish on all your cabinet hardware...easy! If you want to steampunk out your plastic guns...easy! ...
