15 Christmas Trees: Decorations, Crafts, Ornaments! Oh Christmas tree! In all my years of being married...this will be our 19th Christmas...I've never had a live Christmas tree. We've had a few different artificial trees and I love the pre-lit variety for sure. I don't hold too fast to traditional ornaments, so I decorate the Christmas tree differently every year. Farmhouse Style Buffalo Plaid Christmas Tree      Deck the halls with a little farmhouse flair this year. This tree has warm white lights and simple but rustic ornaments. Galvanized steel and fun textures make this set up the perfect farmhouse Christmas tree. Buffalo plaid is totally in--and paired with the galvanized steel is the perfect combination. I picked the white and black buffalo check because it is so classic. I love the red and black, but it definitely has a different vibe to it.      We don't have a central fireplace with a mantle at our house. I have a big beautifully plain wall that I decorate. I use a table or a shelf for the stockings and decor. I like having options for the holiday decorating and I mix it up every year. How do you decorate for the holidays?
