Summer Camp Custom Drawstring Bags!

Personalized and autographed drawstring bags are the perfect Summer Camp take home craft.

They are useful during camp, carrying supplies and keeping track of their stuff...plus these ones are hard to lose because they are personalized with names and decorated.

These drawstring Summer camp bags are perfect for a craft activity, with or without custom vinyl ahead of time.

We did this with 2 dozen tween girls and had a great time.

They loved them! They loved having their names on their own bag and could personalize it any way they wanted. It took about 1 hour and we sat on picnic blankets.

You will need:

Natural Canvas Drawstring Bags

Fabric Markers: bold and neon

Cricut® Iron-on Glitter, Silver

Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine

Iron

I used a 12 by 24 mat for this. The glitter vinyl is only 12 by 19.

I listed all the girls names, because everyone loves their names on things. Plus, if they left it laying around during the camp, we'd know who it belongs to! Mirror the file and then click cut!

I set it to Iron on + and it cut it perfectly.

Cut the names apart and weed the excess vinyl.

Place them right on the canvas bag.

Place iron on and press firmly for just a few seconds. Like 12 seconds.

Let cool and peel the plastic back over itself to remove it.

The girls were thrilled to see their names and then doodle, decorate and autograph the bags!

We spent about an hour just chatting and coloring...passing bags around and signing them.

The best part was all the girls had a bag to keep their belongings like waterbottles and stuff...and if we found one laying around, we knew exactly who it belongs to!
