Doctor Who "Something Blue" TARDIS Wedding Shoes!

Doctor Who "Something Blue" TARDIS Wedding Shoes!  The perfect addition of blue and total Doctor Who Geekery to wear! Easy to DIY!    You will need: Blue spray paint Clear acrylic spray paint White and black acrylic paint Shoe clips White fabric Blue ribbon Hot glue/gun Scissors Paint brushes Shoes that fit you!    These ones have a low heel and are comfy...and they were cheap.  Stuff grocery bags inside the shoe to keep overspray off the inside of the shoes. I used Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover in Deep Blue Gloss. One of my favorite colors!  Do a couple of light coats. Then remove the plastic bags and let them dry.  While the shoes are drying you can make the bows! I used old sheets. I didn't even iron them...because you scrunch up the bows anyway. Start with 2 rectangles...about 4 by 8 inches.   Take the top edge and fold it over a so it rests about half way.  Add a line of hot glue on it. ...

Owl Decoy for Front Porch!

I stepped outside on a nice spring morning to find my  front porch bench littered with bird droppings!  Apparently a little bird sits on the underside of this  ledge and uses the bench as his toilet.  To prevent further mess, I found this owl image. I printed it off and laminated it.  Used some Duck Tape loops on the backside...  And taped it up on the ledge!  He looks great! We named him Talon!  Updated...I cleaned off the bench and a month later, No more droppings! This post published on Doodlecraft first

Jewel Soaps!

I think soap is so fun! It's a great gift too, because everyone uses soap...or they should... and it doesn't take up extra space or make clutter. And Jewel soaps are adorable too!   I was sent Stephenson's Melt and Pour soap base . This one is free of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.   Yay...no harmful chemicals!  I used some neon soap coloring (the same I used for Rainbow Soap )  Just as easy as melting the soap base for 30 seconds... adding some drops of color and mixing!  Poured into my jewel mold and cooled. This cools so fast!  Pop them out and admire the cuteness! Love! Check out my other soaps too! Peppermint Orange and Oat Citronella Bug Repellant Soap Neon Rainbow Soap!
