Chinese New Year Zodiac!

Chinese New Year is Friday January 31st! Year of the HORSE! I love reading the Chinese Zodiac for myself and each of my kids... I don't base my life off of it, but I am surprised to see some truth in them. Spot on sometimes! Okay, so here's a list of the animals and their meanings. Rat: Born in 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008 Rat was the first animal in the Chinese zodiac cycle. I LOVE MY WIFE Fine Print Shirt!

I LOVE MY WIFE Fine Print T-shirt! Upon closer inspection it reads: I LOVE it when MY WIFE lets me play video games!  I made a few shirts like this for Christmas. I made one for my husband...who gets TONS of attention whenever he wears it in public! People LOVE this shirt.  They have to come up close to see the fine print! I am sure you can think of several people who NEED this shirt! (this is my son modeling...not my husband)  :)  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the Heat Transfer Vinyl in reverse.  Lay it on top of the shirt, plastic side up.  And Iron it on!  Iron for a few minutes and then peel back the edge of the plastic to see if it has adhered. Then remove plastic or keep ironing trouble spots.  Makes a great statement!  This is the shirt I made for a friend whom is always reading. They loved it.  You can make your own if you have the supplies... or buy the vinyl custom cut and ready t...

Happy Birthday to Me!

Welp, Today is my birthday! and I am officially 33.  I know. Old.  Check out all those candles!  We celebrated last weekend because the hubby had some time off work. I made cheesecake...I re-lit and blew out the candles 4 times,  until they were melted down to nothing! That's my favorite part! Otherwise, I haven't planned a big party for myself this year... Last year I had a Doctor Who party (like this one...although this was my sons) Pony Parties are a favorite! I had a Diablo 2 Party when I turned 30... (here's my son's 10th) And...a Dragon Party too...the year my birthday  fell exactly on Chinese New Year! And a Princess Party would be super fun! I'm thinking of doing a tea party in a month or so... This post published on Doodlecraft first
