Wooden Silhouette Vinyl Nativity Set!

 I did a silhouette nativity set with my friend. She came over to my place with all her wood blocks cut and lightly sanded! The hardest part was picking the colors to paint the blocks... While she painted, I cut the white vinyl out with my silhouette! All the images are from Silhouette store and cut with my cameo. (just search for nativity)  After they dried, we stuck on the vinyl  And did a big "O Holy Night" to go over the stable  And thanks to the magic ripple effect of photoshop, you don't have to see how messy my craft room is!  :) I love Nativity sets. If I weren't such a holiday decor minimalist...I'd probably have hundreds! Here's some other fun ones. Gingerbread Houses!

Hubby just passed a HARD and stressful test. To celebrate...we had a CANDY LOAD night!  I tried my best to roll out gingerbread and cut them the same sizes... but they puff up and out when they bake...so they weren't perfect.  We had enough candy to make up for that though! The humidity here is not helpful with royal icing... it didn't set up as well as we hoped. Oh well, they didn't last long anyway!  :) Merry Christmas!  So excited!
