LaLaLoopsy Dollhouse Upcycled Craft!

Upcycled Shelf into a LaLaLoopsy Dollhouse! This was a project that my daughter and I did together. Hailee is 8, she is sooo much fun! She actually seemed like she was growing out of these dolls  a little...until we made this house.  Now they are the cutest decoration, even if she doesn't always play with them! We began with a sad little bookshelf.   We got it free from our neighbor. Hailee painted it.  Top floor pink, bottom floor blue! Let it dry... Then bust out the major adhesives!  Spray glue and the Hot Glue gun! I cut colorful scrapbook paper to fit the floor size.   Sprayed on a little spray adhesive and stuck them down.   Could use modpodge and seal it a little, but we didn't bother. Kid Friendly Wood Block Nativity Set!

***Update!*** I've got these stickers here in my ETSY SHOP!  Buy some and make a Kid Friendly Wood Block Nativity Set!!!  I got this Nativity Set kit from a friend and let my daughter put it together for us!  Nativity scene stickers...you could use vinyl or rubber stamps to  make the perfect Kid friendly Nativity Set! And some wooden blocks!  These are cut to the stickers size and are 1 inch thick!  We painted the top of the block with a white wash, just so the stickers would show through the best! We cut the stickers and lined them up...  Applied them to the blocks... Decided the edges needed some stain.  Used Dark Walnut...  Perfect!  A Nativity set you can use in Primary, with the kids or grand-kids! and keep them away from this one! Stencil a Round Kitchen Table tutorial!

  I bought this table and chairs a while back for $20... with the intention of doing something more  to it than just keeping it black! Well, I found a whole gallon of charcoal paint at Walmart for $5...so I had to get it. I promptly painted the table top gray with a roller.  I did several coats. Then I made a stencil.  Because no stencil company has given me free stencils so I make my own...and I am trying to come in under budget...always. I have about 5 sheets left of this super thick plastic! I love this stuff, I've used it several times now... But I used my silhouette and cut a 12 by 12 page of my design. Moroccan pattern. I used a sharpie and traced it on the plastic. Same idea as this stenciled and stained furniture! It didn't always line up absolutely perfect, but I went with it! Then used scissors to cut out my shapes...I put an x where  I am cutting out for good measure...been known  to cut the wrong space out!  ...
