The Real Ultimate Ninja Birthday Party!
My adorable teenaged son did not need a birthday party...but I like to throw them anyway.  I decided on a Ninja theme, because it is so much fun.
Summer time birthdays are the best!  The weather is always gorgeous and sunny.  This guy gets an outdoor party every year without fail.
This party is fun and simple--check out all the details!
 So...I officially own a teenager!
He is amazing.  He is loving, responsible and a great example.
Best part...He still loves me.
We used to run a Martial Arts school...when this guy was 3 months old...until he was 7.
So, the ninja in him is still strong.
We decided to throw the Ultimate Ninja Birthday Party!
Oriental Trading sent us everything we needed for the party in exchange for this review.
Ninja Warrior Pack for 8
Ninja Stress Toys
Ninja Cupcake Holder
Ninja Chopsticks
Ninja Bendable Characters
Ninja Treat Boxes
(They have lots more Ninja themed stuff too!)
We put the cupcake stand together...It's thick foam core board,
covered in shiny treated paper, so it wipes up easily to reuse.
It is sturdy and I was impressed!
The toys were equally as fun!
We set the table for 8!
The ninja plates, cups and napkins really set the scene!
We had the party in the backyard because it's so perfect!
We had lots of little ninja's doing all sorts of tricks!
 And the splits!
We put a sparkler in the cupcake instead of candles!
And had the birthday boy Fruit Slice the watermelon!
Using his Barbarian sword (the real deal), he did 2 quick slices from
side to side and then a full chop down the center!
Afterwards, he cut them into slices.
This was probably the highlight of the party!
Ninja parties are so much fun--while your planning one:
