Here's ten Cricut money making ideas for the holidays. Making money is the theme of the last quarter of the year, right? Maybe it's spending money...but I like to do both.
This is a great time of year to think business...how you can make a little extra money on the side from home. Maybe finance a fun trip, lavish gifts or just scrape by for another month. It's not too late to get started making things to sell for the holidays.

Let's go over some of the best items to sell for the holidays. I've got a list with links for 100 things to make with the Cricut here.
People love customized and personalized items. If you are willing to personalize things, this is a great venue to explore. I focus primarily on projects that have a little more generic vibe...things that anyone can relate to. Decide how much time and effort you want to put into your products and go from there.

Cost of Supplies + $20-50 an Hour for Time Spent
It mostly comes down to what you feel your time is worth. Some items cost nearly nothing to make, and nearly no time. Be creative and come up with a price you feel good about. A price that makes you feel giddy inside while you are making the item.
WARNING: If you are upset about a project while making it, you are NOT charging enough money for it. Double the price for the next one.
The other thing to consider is selling platform. Are you selling them online? Will you have to ship them? Are you setting up a booth at a boutique or are you going to do word-of-mouth or local? All of these things will make a difference when deciding what to make to sell.
I love selling online, shipping from home and only making generic items. You might just find your niche selling things made from the Cricut!

1. Tumblers
Tumblers and Water Bottles are all the rage. Make customized tumblers with names or keep them generic with just a phrase and sell them for some extra dough this holiday season. Perfect for stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, friends and neighbor gifts or for the entire family.
Priced at about $20 for personalization for a fair profit margin.
This project just uses the standard cutting blade and adhesive vinyl. This is a project that ANY of the Cricut cutting machines can handle. It's a great personalized item that everyone will love.
Adding custom vinyl to a tumbler is awesome...but adding glitter and resin to it is even more extra! If you are feeling adventurous, give this one a try!
Resin and Glitter tumblers are a bunch more work, they can be priced higher between about $25-35.
2. Door Mats
Custom door mats are the perfect money maker if you don't have to ship your products. I'm not sure even how I would ship this heavy mat...but they make a great local sale. Add a personalized name or make them generic for easy sales.
These coir mats I found at Walmart for $6 each, makes a pretty good profit margin if you sell them for $20-25.
3. Shirts
An iron-on shirt is the perfect money making Cricut craft that doesn't take a ton of extra supplies. Just a shirt, iron-on, a Cricut cutting machine and the Cricut EasyPress. Everyone loves a custom shirt. Great technique for costumes, tote bags, pillowcases and more!
Price t-shirts between $18-30 depending on the amount of vinyl, type of shirt and effort put in to making it.
The seamless finish on an Infusible ink shirt is awesome! It's machine washable and doesn't lift or peel ever. This is a showstopping shirt that people are amazing that it's homemade! Must be 100% polyester material for best results with Infusible Ink.
Infusible Ink shirts should be priced higher than your iron-on because of the materials used. Somewhere between $20-40.
4. Stockings
Pick up some generic stockings and add a personalized touch. Use Iron-on vinyl with the EasyPress (I'd use the Mini) and customize them for a great money making product.
Custom stockings can be priced about $10-18 a piece. Make sure the stocking base you use is accounted for in the price.
5. Ornaments
Ornaments are a great money maker for the holidays. They can be personalized very simply or made generic for the Christmas tree. "Our first Christmas", "Merry and Married 2021" and "Our first home" are great generic sayings.
Acrylic Ornaments should be priced similar to the keychains but could be a little higher because of perceived value. About $3-12 each.
Customize fillable ornaments too! Just weed some vinyl and apply it to the front surface of a plastic ornament. These ornaments are super cheap, so this is a really cost effective money making product!
Priced somewhere around $5-12 each.
Add a face, name or any adhesive vinyl to a fillable ornament for a keepsake or homemade gift.
This vinyl is adorable but a delicate weeding process. These are stunning and make a great homemade gift. Could be for a newlywed couple as a "first Christmas" keepsake.
These are tedious to weed, but are a huge best seller.
Price a set of these together for around $9-20 depending on size.
6. Keychains
Engraving acrylic blanks is a blast using the Cricut Maker! These make great keychains, zipper pulls, Christmas tree ornaments or even jewelry. The Cricut Maker is the only machine family with the capability of using the Engraving tool.
Acrylic Keychains are a great stocking stuffer or gift tag! Personalized keychains should cost a little more, while a generic one would cost less. I'd price them between $3-5 each.
7. Mugs
Custom mugs that are dishwasher and microwave safe are awesome! This is a big selling point for customers, we all want to just throw dishes into the dishwasher and microwave...no question. Prices for these mugs should range between $15-25 depending on the details.

8. Vinyl sayings/bumper stickers
Vinyl is one of the most inexpensive materials to work with (besides paper) and can be the FASTEST and SIMPLEST ways to make money.
When I first got a cutting machine, I made custom canister labels. They got a set of 6 labels and I sold them for $12, I made more than enough to pay off my first machine in just a few months.
So making bumper stickers, waterbottle decals, wall art or other cut vinyl is the perfect holiday money maker!
Plus, these are EASY and CHEAP to ship! They really are the BEST way to get started making some extra holiday cash!
Price the vinyl based on the amount of vinyl used plus time. A 3x4 sticker should be priced at about $1-5. (I sold a set of 6 for $12)
9. Vinyl Wood Signs
Make holiday decor, seasonal decor or just fabulous home decor using scrap wood and vinyl...maybe a little paint. Make decorative blocks that sit on a shelf or hilarious sayings to hang in the bathroom. These can be generic and made ahead of time for calmness during the holiday rush.
Prices will vary hugely based on size and time...but refer to the money calculating formula at the top of this post.
10. Earrings/Jewelry
Jewelry is a great stocking stuffer, it's easy to ship and it's irresistible as the perfect gift. Price the earrings based on the cost of your materials plus time to make them. The cricut really does make this a breeze, so it's easy to make a few sets in the same cutting and sell them all or keep one for yourself!
Price range should be somewhere between $5-20, depending on difficulty and materials. There's additional wear and tear on your mats when using leathers, so that should be considered as well.
