Felt Fortune Cookies for Chinese New Year!

Felt Fortune Cookies for Chinese New Year! I love fortune cookies!  These colorful felt fortune cookies are easy to make and take less than 15 minutes.  They are perfect reusable play food toys.  Chinese New Year is Feb 5, so this is the perfect craft to ring in the new year!  Make a bunch of brightly colored fortune cookies for imaginative play, as a decoration, or string them up on a garland! This craft is part of Craft Lightning: Obsure Holidays! Chinese New Year isn't really an obscure holiday, but it's what I decided to celebrate today!  I like to celebrate any chance I get! Supplies Needed: 4" circles of colored felt 3" strips of twill tape or ribbon 3.5" of pipecleaner Hot Glue/Gun Use a big mug or plate that is 4 inches across and trace the circle onto the felt with a pencil.  Valentine Decor Lace Heart Paper Chain with Cricut Maker Decorate for Valentines day with a paper chain.  This paper chain is delicately cut to look like lace doilies, and stapled together like hearts.  It's the perfect holiday decor.  Goes great with this Valentine flower wreath.   You will need: (affiliate links) Cricut Maker Cricut Cardstock 12x24 Red Tones Cricut 12x12 Light Grip Mat This Lace Strip CDS project Stapler {This is my daughter's betta fish, Sapphire, living happily in a quart of water for the last 2 years.}  First use the Cricut Maker to cut strips of delicate lace border strips.  I used 3 shades of reds.  Then fold each strip in half.  Roll the top half of the strip in a heart shape.  Then place the next folded piece inside the heart.  Then staple the 4 layers of paper together.  Repeat the process with all the paper strips.  Until a gorgeous heart paper chain has been made.  Hang it like a garland or set it on the
