Hello Bubble Sign!

Hello Bubble Sign! I got this adorable hello cut out mdf wood sign...  And spray painted it aqua!  Then I found a picture frame with a blank back board...  And just hot glued the bubble right in the frame! Looks great for a spring door! This post published on Doodlecraft first

Chalkboard Sugar Cookies!

Chalkboard Sugar Cookies! These are so cute and a really fun gift for teacher appreciation! They are easy to make! Sugar Cookies! These ones don't spread when they bake...they are crisp and a little flavorless...but great with frosting! 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for rolling   1/2 teaspoon baking powder   1/4 teaspoon salt   1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature   1 cup granulated sugar   1 large egg   1 teaspoon vanilla extract Mix, separate into 2 balls...press into disks...and place in a ziploc bag  and set in the fridge for 2 hours...or the freezer for about 20 minutes. Then remove, roll out on floured surface and bake 325 for about 12 minutes.  Let them cool completely. Mix up some royal icing. This stuff is made with egg whites and not water...so it forms a crisp sweet glaze that dries hard and shiny.  It is so fun
