Flapper Style Feather Headband!

 Flapper Style Feather Headband!  I used just a few things for this adorable headband! You will need: 16-18" fold over elastic Fancy Nagorie plumed feather plastic netting (from an old marble or fruit bag) plastic rhinestone button  I measured my head with the elastic and then cut it one inch shorter...this  way it stretches just enough to keep it on but not to squeeze out your brains. Use a lighter to melt both ends to prevent fraying.  Hot glue them to the back of the feather pad...and hot glue a felt circle over the top of them.  I used pliers to pinch off the back of the button... And put a dot of hot glue on the feather...then set the net on top and pressed the jewel on the glue. Holding it all together!  Looks cute and has a fun flapper vibe!  Can be worn as a plumed headband too!  Don't you love using recyclables in cool crafts!? Gold Faceted Flapper Necklace!

Gold Faceted Flapper Necklace! Make an extra long faceted bead necklace! I received all these Jewelry Making Supplies from PandaHall in exchange for this review/tutorial!  You will need: 10mm Half Plated Electropate Gold Beads 6mm Half Plated Electroplate Gold Beads 4mm Half Plated Electroplate Gold Beads Brass Eyepins You will also need jewelry pliers I love these half electroplated beads...just half of them is gold The other half looks shiny silver and crystal like. I work on a beading board. Just cut open each string of beads and put them in separate little piles.  Just place a random bead arrangement on an eyepin... clip the end of the eyepin to about 1/2 inch and loop it around the round jewelry pliers. This makes the perfect round loop.  The next section gets looped right onto the last eyepin...and repeat!  I wanted mine to be an extra long necklace. I used about 40 eyepins.  I love the gold and the vibrate crysta...

Feathers, Pearls and Flowers! Flapper Style Headbands!

 Lets start with the iconic Feather Headband...  I got this fabulous feather embellishment from Wholeport for $6. They have a big variety...peacock feathers too!  I used a metal headband and some stretch lace .  Just hot glued the lace to the headband...  I fit it to my model and marked where I wanted the feathers to sit.  Then I put a strip of hot glue on the felt backing of the feathers. Glued it on!  Simple and luxurious! Sort of a 20's flapper feel...modernized.  She loves this!  Next is the whimsical flower and pearl headband.  I was sent this yard of chiffon flower trim from Wholeport!  I used a wide metal headband form, just like the feather headband.  I began by hot gluing the flowers around the headband.
