HTVRONT H10 Heat Press Review (New 12x10in Manual)
HTVRONT H10 12x10 Heat Press
As part of the hands-on reviewer program in the HTVRONT and Loklik community, I was excited to test it out on a real project.
With my niece and her friend heading to a Billie Eilish concert this week, customizing jerseys with bold numbers felt like the perfect challenge.
Spoiler: The H10 absolutely delivered!
The H10 is compact, easy to lift, and heats up quickly—an immediate win if you’ve ever wrestled with heavier heat presses.
It feels sturdy despite being lightweight, and the interface is refreshingly simple.
The temperature and timer controls are intuitive, and the display is bright and easy to read.
One standout feature is the built-in pressure gauge, which shows you exactly how much pressure you’re applying to your project.
For me, that was the only reason I felt confident pressing jerseys—pressure consistency matters a lot with heat transfer vinyl, especially on slippery athletic fabric.
If you're familiar with the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press or other auto press machines, the H10 feels like the more portable, quick press...they are all great options, but if I just had one HTVRONT heat press, I would pick this one!
It gives you the control of a manual press but with smart design features that make the workflow smoother and more reliable.
Supplies Needed for Varsity Numbers on Jersey:
Step-by-Step Tutorial: Varsity Numbers on Jersey
It's super important to dress up for concerts these days, and this project took less than 30 minutes!
Step 1: Cut and Weed the Vinyl
I used standard heat transfer vinyl, cutting the numbers in a bold athletic font.
After cutting, I weeded the excess vinyl carefully. Jerseys stretch and move, so clean edges really make a difference.
Prep the shirt by putting a heat mat inside it.
Step 2: Prep the Jersey
Lay the jersey flat and pre-press for 2–3 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
This helps the HTV stick cleanly.
Step 3: Set Up the HTVRONT H10
- Temperature: 280°F (or according to your HTV instructions)
- Time: 30 seconds
- Optional: Place parchment paper or teflon on top
The H10 heats evenly across its entire 12×10 plate—no cold spots, which I noticed immediately.
Step 4: Press the Numbers
Position your vinyl where you want it on the jersey. Use the handles to apply the press and give it even pressure.
The H10’s pressure gauge makes this part so much easier—you can see the exact pressure level so you don’t under-press or over-press.
Step 5: Peel the Carrier Sheet
Most HTV calls for a cool or cold peel, rarely a warm peel, and the vinyl peeled beautifully right after pressing.
Crisp edges, clean adhesion, no lifting.
I find that rolling the carrier sheet back over itself is the cleanest way to remove without anything lifting off.
Step 6: Final Press
I added a 3–5 second final press to lock in the vinyl since jerseys endure movement and stretching.
The jersey turned out flawless—smooth, stretchy, and ready for the Billie Eilish concert floor.
The numbers adhered perfectly without puckering the fabric.
The H10 did an amazing job, and the pressure gauge is honestly my new favorite feature.
Whether you're making custom shirts for the holiday season, fan merch, gifts, or school spirit projects, this press is a great option.
Final Thoughts on the HTVRONT H10
The HTVRONT H10 exceeded my expectations. It’s compact, powerful, and extremely user-friendly.
If you’re looking for a heat press that doesn’t take up a ton of space but still delivers professional-level results, this is it.
If you’re comparing heat presses, the H10 stands out because of its portability, straightforward controls, smooth pressure adjustment, and reliable heat consistency.
As someone who loves trying new craft tools, the H10 is a keeper—and definitely one I’ll reach for again and again.
