Here’s the full walkthrough of how I made my black hat with bright red HTV numbers:

Supplies Needed for 67 Hat:

Step 1. Prepare Your Design

You can cut your HTV using a cutting machine or even hand-cut random material scraps if your design is simple.

I cut out “67” in bold red vinyl, because trending.

Step 2. Preheat the Hat Press

Turn on your auto hat heat press.

Adjust your pressure settings so the hat fits snugly but comfortably on the curved plate, remember there are 2 curved platens, so pick the one with the right curve.

Set the temperature and time to the correct settings for your hat material and the type of HTV you are using. (300*F and 25 seconds for Everyday type iron-on)

Step 3. Load the Hat

Slide your hat onto the curved base.

Smooth out wrinkles—this ensures the HTV adheres cleanly.

Step 4. Position the HTV

Place your vinyl design exactly where you want it.

Because the press is curved, make sure edges lay flat, secure the HTV with heat resistant tape if desired.

Remember when you cut out your HTV that the image should be mirrored and cut it from the back layer.

Then place the teflon sheet over the HTV and it's ready for the press.

Step 5. Auto Heat Press the Hat

Just click the "go" button, the HTVRONT logo and the press will automatically come down on the hat and press it with the right amount of pressure.

The automatic consistency is what sets this press apart from a traditional manual hat press machine.

The press does all the work, it's super quiet, like silent.

It has the timer countdown and when it ends, the heat plate lifts up and you can tilt the stand back to reveal the hat.

Give the hat a few minutes to cool down and then it's time for the reveal.

Remove the carrier sheet after pressing.

Smooth, crisp edges and perfect adhesion—that’s the magic of the HTVRONT heating plate.
