We swam in the gulf of Mexico and watched a nearby boat fishing...they picked up a black tipped shark, took pictures and then just plopped it back into the water...near where we were swimming. We took a short break from the ocean for some lunch and to reapply sunblock.  Then we just got back in the water and didn't think about sharks.
