Succulent Paper Wreath Kit!

Succulent Paper Wreath Kit! I love succulents!  This paper crafting kit from CTMH is adorable! Close To My Heart is the perfect source for stamps and ink, embellishments, paper crafting and more!  This kit comes with everything you need to make this except adhesive. I used my hot glue gun.  There's a big thick chipboard wreath that you cover with paper. The papers are all precut and just need to be popped out.  All the pieces pop right out and then you layer them from biggest to smallest and glue them in the center as you go.  Curl the leaves with your fingers and start gluing things down on the wreath.  Roll up the flower curls and glue them in place.  Arrange the succulents any way you want! Add some letters to the banner and presto!  Easy and done!  I love the shimmery gold foil stickers, they give the wreath just the right amount of bling!   Close To My Heart has darling paper crafting kits ...

Pun Week! Alpaca Bag Llama Tote!

Alpaca Bag! This is the finale of my fun week of Puns!  I knew I wanted to make this for my daughter for Christmas. She wanted "puns" for Christmas, so I delivered. But finding an adorable llama cartoon image was nigh on impossible! So, I made one myself. I made it simple and cute with a darling kawaii face! Those giant eyes with lashes!  You will need a tote bag. I get all of mine from Oriental Trading. The totes are not the best quality on their own.  But for an upgrade, they are ideal! You'll want to cut off the handles.  Reverse your image and cut it out on an electronic cutter.  I use a Silhouette Cameo. I used flocked heat transfer material in royal blue. Then weed the excess and place on the tote.  Cover with a tea towel and iron for a couple minutes.  Then iron directly on the plastic.  Pull back the plastic and make sure it peels away from the vinyl. I pulled too fast and made an error!!!!  T...
