Copper Painted Cement Planter DIY

This post was live on Darice's blog last month.

Copper Painted Cement Planter DIY.
The combination of metallic and cement is wonderful.  This simple craft would make a great centerpiece, handmade gift, or fabulous home decor piece.
You will need:
Cement Vase
Copper Paint
Paintbrush
Painters Tape
Start by wrapping painters tape around the vase.  Firmly press the tape down so that it's sealed firmly on the cement.
Now get your metallic paint.
Next, use a paintbrush and paint one layer on the cement.  Let it dry and then add another layer of metallic paint.
Let it dry completely and then remove the tape!  Presto, it's fantastic!
Fill it with some bright flowers.
Or add an air plant for a fun home decor piece.
