A Christmas Story Inspired: Triple Dog Dare Shirt with Cricut Explore Air 2
I love A Christmas Story!  I watch it multiple times during the holiday season.  I love the old school vibe and the silliness.  I love the perspective of the little boy and the excitement of Christmas for him.  I think it's hilarious.  I remember watching it with my parents and hearing them laugh.  So maybe it's the deeply rooted family memories too.
Anyway, let's make a great shirt!
~
You will need:
Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine
Iron on Vinyl
Free image (at the end of the post)
Shirt (got mine at Dollar Tree)
Iron/Cricut tools
and 10 minutes!
Use the free image at the end of the post and upload it into Cricut Design Space.
Then size it as large as you would like and set the button to "mirror" for iron on.
Let the machine cut it out, then weed the excess vinyl off.
Now it's ready to iron on the shirt.
Place the shirt flat and then line up the vinyl on top.
You can cover with a tea towel...or get lazy and just iron right on the plastic.
Iron each area about 20 seconds on medium high heat.
Peel off the plastic, checking to make sure it's adhered...or re-iron as necessary.
Let it cool a couple minutes and it's ready for your little trouble maker to wear!  I wish I had a long stocking cap like Schwartz.
A pom pom hat from Dollar Tree will have to do this year!
