Legend of Zelda: Link's Quest Birthday Party!
My kids love The Legend of Zelda.  I've trained them well.  I love the original game, the one that was 8-bit awesomeness and came out in 1984.  I love the music and the graphics.  Since that time, there have been many new games that are all awesome and feature similarities.  Here's the thing though, there aren't Legend of Zelda party packs...so you have to get creative!
For this fun party we got all these fun goodies from Oriental Trading.
They are the one-stop party shop!
Plastic Boomerangs
Inflatable Swords
Heart Containers
Flying "fairy" spinners
Disc Shooters
Gliders
Shooter Guns
Pinata
We had 8 little boys and lots of fun!
With simple cupcakes and cookies, we spent most of the party just playing with these fun toys!
We had gift bags for each of the kids to put their "loot" in when they were done playing with it.
Each item was earned by accomplishing a task.  The kids even had to throw the boomerangs and get them to come back to them!  They were successful too!

With a giant Tri-Force on the wall for a backdrop!
The "Master" Swords were the last prize they won and then we started an all out sword battle!  They are inflatable and fun to swing around!
I printed some cards from the original Legend of Zelda game:
It's dangerous to go alone, take this!
The boys had a blast!
At the end, they beat Gannon who's picture was on the opposite side of the pinata.
Filled with yummy candy
It was a fun and simple way to make a Legendary party!
