 Cookie Dough Truffles!
No bake treats that are sure to please everyone!
There is something SO fun about baking and making around the Holidays!
Maybe it's because it's colder and baking warms the house up...Maybe it's those childhood memories...Maybe it's the wonderful scents of the season...Maybe it's just time for caloric overload?
 Whatever the reason,
It's my favorite part of the season!
(see what I did there?)
These Cookie Dough Truffles are NO Bake!
We had them finished in 20 minutes.  Even my kids were astounded!
It took me more than 20 minutes to photograph them...but prep is a breeze!
 Okay,
cookie dough truffles.
I admit it...I eat cookie dough raw.
always have.  always will.
But this recipe omits eggs and leavening,
so it's perfect to eat as is!
 Mix in:
1/2 cup of butter
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
pinch of salt.
After mixed and dough like,
add 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips.
Taste it...cookie dough!
Add it into ice cream or turn it into truffles!
Roll out dough into balls.
Use a melting chocolate and dunk the balls in.
Let them cool and harden.
That's right, no bake!
Add sprinkles while the chocolate is melted if you wish.
Enjoy!
These would look great on a cookie plate for neighbors!
I'll be honest...when I make cookie plates, I do about 2-3 treats from scratch.
And then I buy cookie and brownie mixes and frosting from the store...
I don't think anyone even notices!
