Easter Egg Keyboard DIY!

Okay, EVERYONE hated my computer keyboard.
Everyone. Yes...they did too!

It was black, so worn out...scratched from fingernails...
letters missing!
My kids (and hubby) had a terrible
 time typing on my keyboard.
Well, Mr. Awesome himself (my hubby), decided it was
time for a DIY keyboard project!
He taped off my keyboard with masking tape
and then painted the keys pink!
Notice the soft undertones of yellow?  He is a real artist!
I used a sharpie and wrote on the crucial key information.
but it was ugly.
 Yay craft paint!
I took some time decorating every key as if it were an Easter egg!
Stripes, chevrons, polka dots, plaids, swirls and flowers!
Even a little Fleur de lis on the N!
We finished it off with a clear spray varnish.
Let it dry over night...and wahlah!
Pink perfection!  I love it, and I am using it now!  :)
The biggest problem...
Now, we are hooked!
Why have a boring keyboard at all???
The kids are going to paint their own!
